ENTRY DEADLINES / ENTRY FEES / WAITING LIST / REFUND POLICY
Waiting List: A player waiting list will be established the MORNING OF THE TOURNAMENT, 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament. Note: tournament fields do fill-up prior to the entry deadline date. Entry fees are non-refundable. The approved payment method of entry fees is by cash, personal check or by credit card (Visa or Master Card). If paying by credit card a 4% bank processing fee is charged to the member. If a player cannot participate in a tournament due to medical injury, a request for refund can be submitted by the player. A letter from the attending physician is required to validate the claim and should be addressed to the UJGA Executive Committee. Refunds are issued at the close of the UJGA season (October). In the event that a tournament is canceled because of inclement weather, a player will be allowed to transfer the fee to another UJGA-sanctioned tournament or may request a refund of entry fees (less a $15 handling charge). ONCE A TOURNAMENT STARTS and a stipulated round has been completed, a refund of entry fees WILL NOT BE AWARDED. Note: A player who qualifies for a national tournament through a UJGA-sanctioned qualifying tournament and who participates in the national event is eligible to receive a refund of tournament fees for those tournaments that are in conflict with the national event. A request for refund must be submitted to the UJGA Executive Director by the qualifying player. Starting times are final and posted 3 days prior to the start of a tournament. In the event a player does not withdraw from an event per the posted Withdrawal Schedule, he/she is considered a No-Show and the No-show policy will be enforced (please review No-Show policy on this web site).
